Performance Group Geopoetics was founded in 2012 by performer and researcher Anna Tzakou for her doctoral research on a body-landscape performance practice. Geopoetics is an artistic collective which draws members from different disciplines, such as architecture, performance art, anthropology and theatre. The group creates environmental and site-specific walking performances in rural and urban landscapes to explore sites and places as collective experiences and reveal them as mythical narratives in the present moment.
